Did You Get Your Golden Letter Yet?

By now, we all should have received our invitations to the 50th reunion.  We're asking to have the second page with your menu selection and your check returned to Sue Ritchie Lear by August 31.

But, if you have received your letter and don't plan on attending, why not return that second page to Sue any way, indicating that you won't be there.  That way, we'll know that we sent the letter to the correct address to list in our directory.  If you don't want your address listed, indicate that also.   Be sure to put your name on the letter!

We're hoping for a big turn out for this great event!  Be sure to get your letters returned to Sue ASAP!

The Letters Are In The Mail

Sally and Donna have mailed out the reunion invitations to everyone whose address has been verified and also to those to whom we have sent verification letters that have not been returned as bad addresses.

If, for any reason, you do not receive a letter in the next few days, contact Donna and/or Sally.

Here's a copy of the letter (2 pages):

These might be a little hard to read - I made them as large as I could.  Maybe you can increase the size on your computer - OR PUT ON YOUR BIFOCALS!  You know we all need them!

Keep a lookout for your letter and respond ASAP!  See you in October!

Coming to Your Mailbox Soon

No, it's not the Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes.  But it something just as good.

The invitations for the reunion are being mailed in a few days!  You'll get the time and place, the cost, where to call for accommodations for out-of-towners, and a menu to select your main course for the dinner.

Everything, along with your check, will need to be mailed to Sue Ritchie Lear by August 31.  If returned after that date, and up to September 20, the price will increase.  No reservations can be taken after that date, and no tickets will be sold at the door.

So look for the letter.  Mark the date on your calendar, send your check, and get ready to have a ball!

And keep checking this blog for any additional information.

For the Out-of-Towners

For those of us arriving from out of town, we have secured a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn, 1500 Easton Road, Willow Grove - near the turnpike.  The rate for the rooms is $104/night.  Rooms are available with one king bed or two double beds.

But here's the catch.  You MUST mention UMHS Class of 63 Reunion to get this rate.  And you MUST make your reservation by September 8.  Past that date, they may not have a room and you won't get the good rate.

If you're coming alone, find someone to double-up with.  Fill the rooms!  Remember the old PJ parties of our youth?  We can do it again!

I'm not sure how many rooms they are holding, so call them quickly and get your reservation.  The phone number is 215-659-3535.
