52nd Reunion - Rooms Blocked at Holiday Inn

I changed the blocked rooms at the Holiday Inn.  There are 4 rooms, king beds, for Friday, June 19 AND Saturday, June 20. The rooms are $139 per night.

If you need a room, please contact me ASAP as I have to give the hotel the final count no later than May 19.

I've already booked one of the rooms, so there are still 3 available.

52nd Reunion

Letters will be going out shortly regarding our 52nd reunion.  But in the meantime, here's what the letter will say:

52^nd REUNION PICNIC

Those who attended last year had a great time, so we decided to do it again!

The date is Saturday, June 20. We'll be at the Holiday Inn Express in Warminster, 240 Veterans Way, next to Costco. Time noon until 6-ish.

We'll supply hoagies and dessert, along with soft drinks and water. If each of you could bring some type of snack or appetizer, we'll be all set. If you would like beer or wine, feel free to bring some. We'll have glasses and ice.

Dress is super casual. Be comfortable and enjoy yourself!

Holiday Inn has blocked a few rooms for us, for anyone coming from out of town who would need a place to stay. The rooms are 2 queen size bed suites for $139.50 per night. They are blocked for Friday night, June 19. I can get more rooms if necessary and also get rooms for Saturday, June 20, if desired.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BOOKING A ROOM AT THE HOTEL, PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP. FRIDAY NIGHT OR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY? I NEED TO LET THE HOTEL KNOW BY MAY 19.

Follow Up on Shirley Knapp

Shirley's family will have a private service.  Her obituary is posted at www.gussfh.com (Guss Funeral Home in Mifflintown), and condolences can be posted there.

Such a loss.  I remember her bubbly personality, her smile and her dimples.  Always fun to be around.  It's hard to believe she's gone.  Gone too soon.
