RIP Jim Rosengrant

I just found out yesterday that Jim Rosengrant passed away on November 6, 2015.

I really hate having to add names to our Memorial page and post the deaths here.  The list keeps growing, and it breaks my heart to see so many friends gone.

RIP John Eichman

I am SO sorry.  John passed away on June 13, 2015, and I failed to post this at the time.

Below is his obituary:

John E. Eichman Jr. of Hatboro, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 in Abington Memorial Hospital. He was 69.

John was the devoted husband of Linda L. (Sprenkle) Eichman, with whom he shared 35 years of love.

Born in Warminster, John was a son of the late Norma O. and John E. Eichman Sr.

John served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era aboard the U.S.S. Independence as part of the VF 41 Fighter Group. Following his service, John began a career with PECO, retiring after 35 years, after which he worked at Bryn Athyn Cathedral. He was also a 34 year member of A.A. John enjoyed motorcycles, airplanes, and Native American artifacts.

In addition to his wife, Linda, John is survived by his children, John E. Eichman III and wife, Hilda, Heidi S. Hallowell and husband, Daniel, and Karyn L. Dwyer and husband, Lawrence; his grandchildren, Tony, Brianne, Montana, Samantha, and Ryan; his great granddaughters, Sofia and Kai; and his sisters, Wilda Flynn and Jeanette Kruger (Jack). John was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Eichman.

Goodbye Wolfgang

Sadly, another name to add to the departed classmates.  Wolfgang Berndt passed away on September 21 after a series of strokes following surgery.  This picture is from our 50th reunion, when Wolfie "crashed" the party.

Too many names on the list.  Sad.

Poor Sally

I just found out that Sally fell off a bike a few days ago and broke her hip.  She had surgery and is now home.  She needs to use a walker for a while and has already started PT.

Sally, hope you're back on your feet soon.

Pictures from Harvey

I'm so sorry.  Harvey and Jean sent me these pictures a few weeks ago and I'm just now getting around to post them. Between packing, moving and unpacking, I've been exhausted!

I wonder what Bill and Joan are talking about?

Nancy seems surprised - maybe Denny has grabbed her??

Tina, Lynda and Linda.  First time here for the two Lynda/Linda's - glad they came!

Jimmy learning something from the Lear table crew.

Pretty flowers thanks to Judy!

Harvey has Joyce skeptical!

A nice group shot, including first-timers Ray Roberts, Joan Freeland, Denny Johnson and Linda Harrison

Nice backside views!

The cake before we cut into it

I never realized Bill Burgher was so tall!

Yes, Jimmy, that is a camera Judy is holding. And there's the birthday girl, Donna.

Karen looks surprised at something Bonnie has said. Sandy looks like she's in another world!

Tony never ages!

Who are Tina and John talking to?  Looks like Bill Campbell.

Again, apologies to Harvey and Jean for the late posting. Better late than never!

Sorry Tom, but Stew's pony tail is longer!

Bill, Harvey and John

Joan, what secrets are you telling Nancy?

Jim, Bill Campbell and Ray Roberts

Nice to see Bill - he didn't make it to the 50th or 51st

Looks like that's the end of the pictures.  If I receive more, I'll post them.

Looking forward to #53 next year!!

The Picnic Pictures Keep Coming

More!

Nice picture of Tina - too bad the flowers got in the way!  Jimmy, put the cell phone away!
