Judy VonGerichten Pfeil send me some pictures she took at the reunion and the Sunday morning breakfast.
What was the best thing about the reunion? Was it the food?
The 1963 cupcakes
The 2023 cupcakes. Someone grabbed a couple already!
The desert table guarded by our Golden Bear, decked out in an Eagles shirt
Me and Sue Hortman filling our plates. To be honest, I was making a plate for our DJ.
Crystal Thompson's husband Mic making a roast beef sandwich while Crystal chats with Tony Pileggi. John Heins is patiently waiting his turn.
Tony's turn. John, Philip Diener, Joyce Argue, Doris Weiler, Ray Roberts, and Bill Ischinger in line. I *think* that might be Nancy Telmosse behind Ray.
Or was the music and dancing the thing you remember most?
Sam Paone started the festivities with a rousing version of God Bless America. Thanks Sam.
Then our DJ Ron Fasano took back the mike.
He even sang for us. (Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear and The Wonder of You, both great Elvis songs.
Gary O'Hara and Nancy found a nice corner to dance.
When Ron sang The Wonder of You, I danced with Harvey Gordon.
That song meant a lot to me.
Ron, me, and Harvey. Harvey recommended Ron for our 55th reunion. We loved him and had to have him back for #60.
Or was the most important thing - the people? Seeing old friends again, renewing old friendships, sharing stories of the years between meetings. To me, that's what it's all about.
Now, if you've looked at the other pictures on the blog, you should be able to name everyone in this picture!
I'll help you with this one - Don Buehler and Bill Ischinger. Old friends from way back when!
The newlyweds, John McDonald and Tina Hollingsworth, and Allan Brandt
Sam Paone and Tony Pileggi - they still look great!
Nancy Telmosse - always smiling!
David Lear looking through our booklet
Here's a nice picture of Ray Roberts with Norma Brinkley and her daughter Susanne
Bonnie Mills and Tom Goodnow - Tom is officially "one of us" now!
Tony, Sam, with John Howarth and his lovely wife Bonnie.
Beverly Rowland and Egil Nilsson checking out the book while Judy VonGerichten's husband Barry looks on.
Too soon, the day was over. I think everyone had a good time. Don't worry - we'll meet again!
Some of us met for a breakfast the following morning at the Hatboro Dish.
The crew at the back table - Don Buehler, me, Beverly, Carol Ann McClure, Nancy, and Joyce
